BOOKLIST weighs in on WILD LAWS

WILD LAWS will be released on March 15, 2010. BOOKLIST's February 1, 2010 issue had this to say about it:

Issue: February 1, 2010
Wild Laws.
Hansen, Jim Michael (Author)
Mar 2010. 423 p. Thriller, paperback, $13.95. (9780981999319).

Bryson Coventry never follows orders, but this time it might cost him his job as a Denver homicide detective. Unsolved murders prey at Coventry’s psyche, and when an on-the-loose killer taunts him with plans for his next kill, Coventry has do so something, especially since he ignored the first warning with dire consequences. His unlicensed pursuit of the killer takes Coventry across three continents and, as series fans have come to expect, into the arms of numerous exotic women along the way. How can one Colorado detective track down a vicious murderer among tens of millions of people in Tokyo? It’s easy, when Coventry makes himself the target. Left back home to worry about him is his protegĂ©, the lovely Shalifa Netherwood, and though Coventry hasn’t given in to the temptation to sleep with her (yet), the sexual tension between the two mounts to a fevered pitch. Hansen writes in an over-the-top, near-campy style, but he has fun with it, and readers who go along for the wild ride will, too.
